The change in season to colder weather and darker evenings can make us feel like we have less time during winter and sometimes can cause an imbalance in our wellbeing and general mood. It’s important to focus on selfcare and your health during this time of year. With seasonal affective disorder being recognised and known to be more common, as a result self care can often get overlooked as a priority. Many of us focusing on work and family leaving no time for ourselves. However, there are ways we can practise self care while balancing our other commitments, and these don’t even have to cost too much. Here are a few ways we can adapt our wellbeing during a time where we may be feeling a little less motivated. Through strategies on self kindness, mindfulness, and wellness we will help support and nurture your mental health this winter and get yourself into a happier state, leaving more time for you…
- Keep a Gratitude Journal, practice gratitude daily and appreciate all that you have in life. Write down what you’re grateful for.
